New Ad: RMV, Veterans Hold Rep. Boebert Accountable for her Voting Record on Anniversary of PACT Act
At the Roundtable Today, Boebert’s Voting Record Against Veterans was Highlighted as Veterans Call for Lower Costs, Better Support
Thursday, August 10, 2023 – Today, on the one-year anniversary of the PACT Act, a campaign ad holding Representative Lauren Boebert (CO-03) accountable for opposing this legislation that provided possibly the largest health care and benefit expansion in VA history will run across the state in three Colorado TV markets. As part of a $2 million campaign, Rocky Mountain Values announced the new ads at a veterans roundtable in Pueblo, “Home of the Heroes.” Having launched its first TV ad in June, RMV has now invested nearly three quarters of a million dollars in advertising, elevating the voices of Coloradans who are calling on Boebert to stop opposing legislation that helps them save money and live better lives.

Unfortunately, Boebert has indicated that the health of Colorado veterans is not her role as a U.S. Congresswoman. U.S. Marine Corps veteran George Autobee, featured in the new ad, and many others disagree with Boebert. In the ad, Autobee states, “Lauren Boebert voted against healthcare for veterans who were exposed to the toxic burn pits. They come back and they're sick. We have a responsibility to make sure these individuals are taken care of when they return from war.” In addition to the new ad, today in Pueblo, veterans gathered to highlight the need for Boebert to support Colorado veterans. She has not only opposed the PACT Act, which significantly expands health care and benefits for veterans exposed to toxic substances, but she has voted more than 15 times against veterans. Left Behind Script George: I know about service. I watched my brothers die on the battlefield. There's one thing that sticks with you from serving is you leave no one behind. But Lauren Boebert voted against healthcare for veterans who were exposed to the toxic burn pits. They come back and they're sick. We have a responsibility to make sure these individuals are taken care of when they return from war. Lauren Boebert voted against veterans healthcare over and over again. And she's left them behind.
